Waterproofing in Portugal

Construction work, during a subsequent conversation, where each party was accompanied by a lawyer, it was verbally agreed that an external party would assess the situation. This independent party determined that the topcoat did not meet the required standards. However, the company has indicated that it will not heed this finding. To prevent further damage to my flat roof, I contacted Sika Portugal again to ask if they knew of another company that would be willing to apply an extra top layer for me. Two months later, I still haven't received a reply. I have now arranged for a company to apply the top layer myself, so that water and frost will no longer affect the roof.
If you’re not a bit handy yourself, you’re at the mercy of the gods. Consumers should be better protected, and the ruling of an independent institute should be binding.
