Foreigners shouldn't expect free top-tier public services they haven't contributed to

Why are so many of my fellow foreigners expecting top-notch quality public services in Portugal, particularly medical ones? Many have just arrived and have contributed little or nothing to them. If the average Portuguese can't get quality service, why should we?

I honestly believe all foreigners should be required to have private health insurance, and if you can't afford it, you shouldn't be here at all. We shouldn't be a drag on a system the locals are already struggling with.

Only in Portugal are foreigners complaining about something they're getting for free.
